A WordPress redesign that starts with your home page
In short
Katsa rebuilds your home page inside your own WordPress site, including sites built with Elementor, using your own photos and facts. Your hosting, domain, billing and other pages stay put. You see the finished page on your own site before it goes live, it’s live within seven days of your go-ahead, and the $2,500 is due once it’s live.
What stays the same, and what can change
The work happens inside your WordPress dashboard, so your hosting account, domain and billing stay put. Your other pages keep their addresses too: WordPress calls them permalinks, and the structure behind them changes only when someone saves a new one in Settings > Permalinks.
Settings > Reading stays unchanged. It decides which page is your home page and holds the search engine visibility box, which asks search engines not to index the site when it’s ticked. Any title and description an SEO plugin sets for the home page stay unchanged unless you ask.
Some changes reach every page. Elementor’s Site Settings hold the global colors and fonts used across the site, and one Theme Builder header usually serves every page, so changing either changes them all.
Switching themes is the biggest change: only one theme can be active, and activating one applies its look and behavior to the whole site. A home page rebuild doesn’t need it.
How you give us access, without your password
You add us as a user with our own login, so your password stays yours. WordPress does this from the Add New User screen.
- In your dashboard, go to Users and choose Add New User.
- Enter a username, and yaz@katsa.co as the email.
- Choose a role, then click Add New User.
Which role: an Editor can publish and edit any page, including other people’s. Menus, the Site Editor, theme settings, plugins and site settings need capabilities only Administrators have by default, so if your header or menu needs work, Administrator is the role that allows it.
On an Elementor site, check its Role Manager too, since it can keep a role out of the editor or limit it to existing content. Once the page is live, delete our user on the Users screen; WordPress asks who should get any content that user created.
How to undo it
WordPress keeps revisions, a record of each saved draft or published update, with a Restore button. They track a page’s title, author, content and excerpt, and a site can cap them or turn them off with the WP_POST_REVISIONS setting.
Elementor adds its own History panel: the Revisions tab lists every saved or published version of a page, and picking one reverts the page to it.
Revisions don’t cover theme settings, menus or plugins, so a backup is the fuller undo. WordPress’s backup guide says a full restore needs both the database and the files, and that most hosts back up the server or offer their own backup tools.
What matters for a builder’s home page on WordPress
- Elementor edits run top-down. A change made in desktop view carries to tablet and mobile, a change made in mobile view stays on mobile, and Elementor treats screens under 767px as mobile by default.
- Caching can hide a new page. If changes don’t show on the live site, Elementor’s fix is Elementor > Tools > Clear Files & Data, then clearing the server cache, any caching plugin and your browser.
- WordPress shows your latest posts on the home page by default. A static front page, chosen under Settings > Reading, is what makes the home page a page you design.
- Your phone number belongs in the header as a tap-to-call link. The tap-to-call page shows how to set it up on WordPress.

Questions
Do I need to upgrade my hosting plan?
No. Your hosting plan stays the same, and the rebuild happens inside the WordPress site it already runs.
What if my site doesn’t use Elementor?
The rebuild still happens inside your WordPress site. Elementor is common on builder sites, not a requirement.
Will my search ranking change?
Nobody can promise a ranking. The home page keeps its address, Settings > Reading stays unchanged, and any SEO plugin title and description stay unless you ask us to change them.
Can you work on the rest of the site?
Yes. The rebuild includes a fix list for the rest of your site, and a full site starts at $9,000, quoted after the home page; start one within 30 days of the page going live and the home page price comes off it. Care Plus costs $349 a month and includes up to 3 hours of edits.
