A better home page on Duda, built inside your own site

In short

Katsa rebuilds your home page inside the Duda site you already have, from your own photos and facts. Your plan, domain, billing and other pages stay put. You see the finished page on your own site before it goes live, it’s live within seven days of your go-ahead, and the $2,500 is due once it’s live. Whoever holds your Duda account sends us the invite.

First, find out who holds your Duda account

On Duda, the account holder decides who gets in. Team members can work on every site in an account, while clients get access one site at a time, with permissions the account holder picks.

If a web company set up your site, it may sit in their Duda account, with you logging in as a client. In that case the invite comes from them, and who owns my website covers what to ask.

What stays the same, and what can change

Two settings reach every page. The Site Theme panel changes text, buttons and colors across the whole site, and Business Info can feed your name, phone and address into the widgets connected to it.

How you give us access, without your password

The account holder adds us with our own login, in one of two ways. Both are on Duda’s Team plan and higher.

  • One site only, as a client: in the dashboard, go to Clients & Team, then Client Management, click Create Client and enter yaz@katsa.co. Under Sites & Permissions, assign your site and switch on Editor, which covers pages, widgets and design, and Site republish, which makes editor changes live; then send the client invite.
  • Every site in the account, as a team member: go to Clients & Team, then Team Management, click Invite Member, enter our details and pick a role.

To end our access later, use Remove Member in Team Management for a team member, or suspend the client under Access or delete them in Client Management.

How to undo it

Duda saves a backup each time you publish the site, and you can save your own under More, Settings, Site Backup. You can preview each backup in a new tab before you restore it.

The limits: Duda stores up to 50 automatic and 50 manual backups, deleting the oldest as new ones arrive, and automatic ones drop off the list often. Duda itself recommends making manual backups rather than relying on the automatic ones.

There’s a gentler undo too. Duda lets you set any page as the home page and keeps the original as a regular page you can reinstate at any time, which its help center suggests for changing a homepage while keeping the old one in place.

What matters for a builder’s home page on Duda

  • Know your editor. Duda sites run on the Classic Editor or Editor 2.0, and the version label sits at the bottom of the editor’s hamburger menu.
  • Content changes apply on every screen size. New text, widgets and sections carry to desktop, tablet and mobile whichever view you’re in, while size and position changes stay on the breakpoint where you make them.
  • The Click to Call widget belongs on mobile. Duda recommends it for the mobile version only and a regular button with a Click to Call link on desktop; connected to Business Info, it takes its number from there. The tap-to-call page has the steps.
  • Local business schema lives on the home page. Duda bases it on the primary location in Business Info and adds it only to the homepage, on Team plans and higher.

What we found across builder sites

Duda sites were too few in Katsa’s review of 171 builder and remodeler websites to report on their own, so these figures cover every site in it, read on October 30, 2026.

Questions

Do I need to upgrade my Duda plan?

Only if you hold the account yourself on a plan below Team, since Duda lists team members and client access on Team plans and higher. If a web company holds the account, the plan and the invite sit with them.

Will my search ranking change?

Nobody can promise a ranking. The home page keeps its address, meta title and meta description unless you ask us to change them.

Can you work on the rest of the site?

Yes. The rebuild comes with a fix list for the rest of your site, and a full site starts at $9,000, quoted after the home page; start one within 30 days of the page going live and the home page price comes off it. Care Plus costs $349 a month, with up to 3 hours of edits.
